Alejandro Isaac Baca Sierra, doing business as Octane Informatic Solutions ("Octane", "we"), located at calle Israel 2811, colonia Nuevo Paraíso, C.P. 31123, Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, its applicable regulations and this privacy notice.

1. Personal data we collect

This website has no sign-up forms or user accounts. We only obtain personal data when you choose to contact us by email, phone, WhatsApp or our online scheduler (agenda.octane.com.mx). In those cases we may collect:

• Identification and contact: name, email address, phone number.
• Work details: company, job title and city or country.
• Project information: the description, requirements and documents you choose to share.
• Billing details, only if you hire our services: legal name, tax ID, billing address and payment contacts.

We do not collect sensitive personal data or financial or banking data through this website. Please do not send us sensitive data through our contact channels.

2. Purposes

Primary purposes (needed to handle your request):

1. Replying to your messages, questions and requests.
2. Scheduling and holding meetings or calls.
3. Preparing proposals, quotes and contracts.
4. Delivering the services you hire, providing support and following up on the project.
5. Invoicing and meeting legal and tax obligations.

Secondary purposes (not needed for your relationship with us):

1. Sending you news about services, blog posts or events.
2. Asking for your feedback about our service.

If you don't want us to use your data for secondary purposes, email hola@octane.com.mx at any time. Opting out does not affect any service you request or hire.

3. Data transfers

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may only share it with:

• Providers that help us operate (email, cloud storage, scheduling, messaging and accounting). They act as processors: they handle data on our behalf, under our instructions and bound by confidentiality.
• Competent authorities, when required by law or by a duly issued order.

These transfers do not require your consent under applicable law. If we ever need to make a transfer that does, we will ask you first.

4. Data we process on behalf of our clients

When we build or maintain a system, we may have access to personal data controlled by our client. In those cases Octane acts as a processor: we handle that data only to deliver the service, following the client's instructions and the contract, and never for our own purposes.

5. Your rights and withdrawal of consent

You have the right to Access your data, Rectify it if inaccurate, Cancel it when you believe it is no longer needed, and Object to its use for specific purposes. You may also withdraw your consent or ask us to limit the use or disclosure of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, email hola@octane.com.mx including:

• Your name and a way to send you our reply.
• A document proving your identity or, where applicable, your legal representation.
• A clear description of the right you want to exercise and the data involved.
• Any document that helps us locate your data.

We will reply within 20 business days of receiving your complete request. If granted, we will carry it out within 15 business days after our reply.

Please note we may not be able to cancel data or honor a withdrawal immediately when a legal or contractual obligation requires us to keep certain data (for example, tax records).

6. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, nor third-party tracking tools. The only cookie we use is a technical one that keeps the internal admin panel session; it is never set for visitors of the public site.

The external services we link to (WhatsApp, LinkedIn, GitHub and our online scheduler) have their own privacy and cookie policies. We recommend reviewing them.

7. Retention and security

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes described and applicable legal obligations. After that, we securely delete or anonymize it.

We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, or unauthorized use, access or processing.

8. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice due to legal changes or changes to our services or practices. Any change will be published on this page with the date of the latest update.

9. Authority

If you believe your right to personal data protection has been violated, you may contact the competent data protection authority in Mexico.
